Flexibility: It starts with a short questionnaire I'll send you. Then we'll talk things over and, if we decide to work together, develop a flexible training program that 1) aligns with YOUR lifestyle and 2) helps YOU achieve your personal goals. We can build out weekly or monthly plans. Or maybe you just need some overall consultation? We'll figure it out.
Personal Contact: Contact can be by phone and/or e-mail. The goal of our check-ins is to assess and discuss your progress, make training program tweaks, address questions and concerns, etc.
Motivation: I'll help with motivation when you need it, but you have to deliver on commitment. Don't expect me to be warm and fuzzy all the time. When you need it, I'll give you constructive feedback and, when necessary, a kick in the butt.
Approach: I believe in a training program that is a nice mix of volume, specificity and recovery. To excel in this program, you first need a strong aerobic base, which we will build. Aerobic fitness is the foundation of everything in endurance sports.
Work/Life Balance: I understand what it's like to run lots of miles and have big goals while also fulfilling your responsibilities as an employee, spouse, parent and homeowner. I can help you find the right balance.
